A few weeks ago while traveling I was checking out Chris Brogan’s blog www.ManOnTheGo.com. One of the videos was about how much he could fit in his bag while he traveled. One of the things he mentioned he took with him was a miniature power strip, which he called “The friend-maker
.”
I looked for the one he had, but I couldn’t find it. I was able to find the one in the picture from Belkin. I love it, it works great…especially at the airport where there is never enough outlets with all of the electronics everyone has. It is also great for the hotel room, where there are usually two outlets by your bed of which are already full with the clock and a lamp of some sort.
This Belkin until sold for less than $15 and has 3 outlets and two usb outlets while serving as a mini surge protector.
It is a little bigger than I would like, but well worth the extra space in my technology bag (aka laptop bag).
